MBEKI ATTENDS POWER LAUNCH

PRESIDENT Thabo Mbeki arrived in Keetmanshoop in Namibia on Wednesday morning for the commissioning of a multi-million rand electricity transmission project between South Africa and Namibia. He was received by his Namibian counterpart Sam Nujoma on arrival at the site of the Kokerboom 400 kilowatt substation, which will channel power between the two countries.
