THE member states of the Economic Community of West African States plan to create a regional airline in the near future, a senior official said. The new company will be called Eco Air, Ecowas Executive Secretary Lassana Kouyate said on Sunday after meeting Malian President Alpha Oumar Konare, the current president of the economic bloc.
