After years of speculation, the sequel to the Oscar-winning animated film Finding Nemo will be released in 2015, Disney-Pixar has confirmed.
Disney says none of its animation companies are working in the traditional 2D format, and there are no current plans to do so again.
A local film’s success raises the prospect of South Africa creating its own Pixar-like brand.
