Democrats Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton clashed sharply in a high-stakes one-on-one debate on Tuesday, accusing each other of falsely portraying their stances on healthcare, trade and other issues. Clinton, who needs to win next week in Ohio and Texas, went on the attack early in the debate at the Cleveland State University.

Robbie Phillips (68), a retired factory worker, was at home, was willing to answer the door to a stranger, and was inclined to vote for John Kerry.
Someone turned in a valid winning ticket for a -million lottery jackpot, the Ohio Lottery said on Tuesday, a day after a Cleveland woman claimed she lost the ticket outside the store where it was sold. An Ohio Lottery spokesperson said the winner would be revealed at a morning news conference.
