Who said comedy was dead? It was alive and well at Durban’s King Zwelethini Stadium on Wednesday night as SuperSport secured a 91st minute goal to beat Golden Arrows 1-0 in what turned out to be a comedy of errors. In the end it was left to Lithe Mozambican midfielder Elias Pelembe to cannon a 20m shot in additional time into the roof of the net.

With hardly anyone in the PSL able to place the ball in the back of the net, Amazulu goalkeeper Tshepo Motsoeneng decided to give all and sundry a lesson in the Premier League game against SuperSport United at a noisy, but relatively deserted Super Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

SuperSport United held Kaizer Chiefs to a 0-0 draw in an entertaining Premier Soccer League game at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Sunday. Chiefs had the better chances and played with a swagger that had the hosts on the back foot for most of the game, but could not beat the superb Dennis Onyango in goal.
