‘Baddest man on the planet’ reflects on life

Mike Tyson, the self-professed ”baddest man on the planet”, who did not believe he would reach the age of 40, is still alive and says he has been clean from drugs and alcohol for 15 months. He has granted a powerful interview granted just before travelling to the Cannes film festival to promote a documentary about his life.

Actor Snipes gets three years in prison for tax evasion

A United States federal judge has sentenced Hollywood actor Wesley Snipes to three years in prison for failing to file tax returns from 1999 to 2004. Judge William Terrell Hodges laid down the harshest possible sentence on Thursday against Snipes (45) after the star of Demolition Man was found guilty on three misdemeanour counts.

The prostitution scandal involving now former New York governor Eliot Spitzer lays bare some of the inner workings of modern-day sex work: SMSing to clock in the client, electronic fund transfers, a website featuring photos, prices and rankings.

Officials say Spitzer spent thousands on sex workers

With pressure mounting on Governor Eliot Spitzer to resign over a prostitution scandal, investigators said he was clearly a repeat customer who spent tens of thousands of dollars — perhaps as much as  000 — with the high-priced prostitution service over an extended period of time.
