Limpopo premier and member of the provincial legislature Sello Moloto has formally resigned, the African National Congress said on Tuesday.

Lobbyists for Limpopo Premier Sello Moloto have made an eleventh-hour change to their candidates’ list.
Despite his allegiances, the Limpopo premier looks set to become the next provincial chairperson.

Constable Francis Rasuge was murdered due to her refusal to be a slave in a relationship, North West Premier Edna Molewa said on Sunday. Speaking at the launch of the 16 Days of Activism campaign against abuse in Maboloka, Molewa said Rasuge typified the pain of being a woman in South Africa.

The conduct of certain people attending the funeral of former South African ambassador to Indonesia Norman Mashabane was ”despicable”, said the African National Congress (ANC) on Monday. The funeral took place in Phalaborwa on Saturday. ”We deplore the behaviour of these unruly elements. There is no room for such people in the ANC,” the party said.

Former ambassador to Indonesia Norman Mashabane (51) has died in a car accident outside Polokwane, police confirmed on Thursday. Inspector Lesiba Ramoshaba said a 20-year-old man, believed to be Mashabane’s son, also perished in the accident.
