A former police station commander has been found guilty of defeating the ends of justice in a charge involving former ANC chief whip Tony Yengeni.
Orders to falsify a Tony Yengeni drunken driving docket came from Western Cape police commissioner Mzwandile Petros, a court heard on Thursday.
The drunken-driving charge against Tony Yengeni, former chief whip of the African National Congress, is linked to the criminal case involving the former commander of the Goodwood police station, Siphiwo Hewana, the Goodwood Magistrate’s Court heard.
