France has revealed that all passengers and crew on board an Air Algerie flight that crashed in Mali died in the tragedy, wiping out several families.

The missing Air Algerie plane has been confirmed by Algerian officials to have crashed en route to its destination.

An airline company source says contact with a plane carrying some 110 people was lost while it was in Malian airspace approaching Algeria.
