Drought-stricken farmers in the Western Cape have had to abandon at least a quarter of their high-value vineyards and fruit orchards

The owner of Cape Point Vineyards says nothing is left of a R500 000 membership he and 120 other investors paid as platinum members of Pinnacle Point.

The director of Cape Point Vineyards has told the insolvency inquiry into Pinnacle Point in Cape Town that he believed the group was solvent.
