Whiteness once again robs black and brown South Africans of their legacy by reducing it to ‘Braai Day’
‘South Africa, God loved you and left you a precious heirloom: Heritage Day, a day off from work to be spent at home or elsewhere’
Renaming Heritage Day as National Braai Day reduces and cheapens the meaning behind the public holiday, says Rebone Tau.
What are vegetarians supposed to do on National Braai Day later this month? ”They can stand and watch,” said Archbishop Desmond Tutu on Tuesday.
