To coincide with the opening of the Venice Biennale on June 4, three Italian-South African artists with three very distinctive styles will present a joint exhibition of their works at the Pretoria Art Museum.
Severa Rech Cassarino, Marco Cianfanelli and Lorenzo Nassimbeni’s exhibition is part of the festivities surrounding the 150th anniversary of Italian unification, in which, as a result of the co-operation of the Italian ministry of foreign affairs and the Italian ministry of cultural activities and heritage, artists of Italian origin resident on five continents have been selected to exhibit their works around the world. The exhibition will be opened by the minister counsellor of the embassy of Italy in Pretoria, Marco Giungi.
