LAZARUS Zim, Managing Director of M-Net has joined the board of Supersport United Football Club, serving as Vice Chairman.
The announcement was made at the team’s headquarters by SuperSport United Chairman Khulu Sibiya.
Zim is no stranger to football administration, having served as a director and secretary of Free State Stars in the late 80’s and early 90’s. He also had a brief stint on the board of Supersport United in 1995 before stepping down.
“It is good to be back with the team. We have a lot of exiting plans for Supersport United. Obviously our main focus at the moment is to ensure that the team remains in the Premier Soccer League. I am confident that this will be acheived.”, said Zim.
