GERMAN PRINCE IN KENYA BRAWL

PRINCE Ernst-August of Hanover, husband of Princess Caroline of Monaco, and a gang of men have put a German hotel and disco owner in intensive care after a punchup in Kenya. The disco owner, Joe Brunnlehner, was on Sunday being treated in hospital in the Kenyan coast city of Mombasa, where his wife Narriman said he was ”in a stable condition” after a violent assault. Police on the Indian Ocean island of Lamu told German newspapers that the prince, on holiday with Caroline and no stranger to this type of incident, was upset with the noise from the discotheque on the adjoining island of Manda. Witnesses said Brunnlehner was attacked on Friday night by a group of at least eight men, all Africans apart from their leader, the 45-year-old prince, who punched him until he collapsed, his face and chest covered with blood.
