NO ANC-IFP SOLUTION YET TALKS between the ANC and IFP in Ulundi, KwaZulu-Natal, on Thursday yielded no real agreement about special amnesty conditions in the province. Provincial Premier Ben Ngubane said: “It’s going to be a long road to find real peace, real brotherhood, but we are confident that we are going to walk that road together.” He said ministers from both parties will meet next week to continue the peace process.

ALLIANCE TO MEET A meeting between alliance partners Cosatu, the African National Congress and the SA Communist Party has been scheduled to plan a summit on the Basic Conditions of Employment Bill. The summit will be held to resolve issues and negotiations around the Bill.
