Soldiers urged to free UN prize winner

MOBUTU AIDES FACE ARREST THE Kabila government in Kinshasa will crack down on fraud and corruption among officials in the ousted Mobutu regime, suspending the chiefs of state-owned companies and arresting those party officials who have not fled the country.

COUNCILLOR STONED TO DEATH A COUNCILLOR from the West Rand squatter camp of Swanieville was stoned to death by a mob of 200 school children on Monday and his house was torched. Police have been unable to explain the attack yet, and no arrests have been made.
