ANGOLA have qualified for the African Nations Cup finals in Burkina Faso next year after beating Zimbabwe 2-1 on Sunday in Luanda, Angola. Angola have six points and are in second place in Group 1, two points ahead of Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe were seeking to qualify for the first time for the prestigious competition.
Meanwile, Mozambique also earned a place in the finals after beating Malawi 2-1 in Maputo on Sunday. Mozambique came from behind to win the match.
Zambia beat Mauritius 1-0 in Zambia to win a place in the finals.
