Pirates put Moloi up for transfer

TUESDAY, 1.30PM:

ORLANDO Pirates midfield maestro Tebogo Moloi has been transfer listed. Moloi immediately expressed his desire to join Pirates’ rival team Kaizer Cheifs.

Pirates CEO Irvin Khoza said he decided to put Moloi on transfer list after a weekend newspaper quoted him saying he was not happy at Pirates. He said the club will ask a reasonable price for Moloi because it is not their intention to frustrate him.

“It was after the player made it clear in a newspaper that he was no longer happy at Pirates that I took a decision to allow him to go and try his luck elsewhere,” said Khoza.

Moloi said he needs a club where he will play regularly. “I have made up my mind and there is nobody who will change it. I think the time has come for me to leave Pirates and play for Chiefs, where I will be fielded regularly,” he said.
