Weekend soccer fixtures

FRIDAY, 9.05AM:

Premier Soccer League pace-setters Buch Bucks coach Trott Moloto has warned his charges not to relax because they are on top of the Premiership log. Moloto, one of the underrated coaches in the country, was speaking ahead of their PSL encounter with Bloemfontein Celtic at Seisa Ramabodu Stadium on Sunday.

“We are aware that we are targeted becuase of our position on the log,” he said. He said he will field striker Marvin Klassen from the amateurs to fill the gap left by Vincent Skhosana, who was red-carded in the game against Pirates on Wednesday.

Jomo Cosmos boss Jomo Sono said his charges are not afraid of Cape Town Spurs but they worry about the man in the middle – the referee. He said he hoped Errol Sweeney would appoint the right man to officiate the game. The two sides meet in a Premiership game at Green Point Stadium on Sunday.

He promised Spurs that they will give them a run for their money. “Most of my players were out because of injuries and red cards, but they are back and we’re going to give it a go this time,” said Sono.

Relegation-threatened Real Rovers will parade their new signings from Kaizer Chiefs when they meet Hellenic at Pietersburg Stadium on Sunday. The trio are Strikers Louis Ditibane, Percy Makwaeba and midfielder Lucas Mhonsi. “We believe that our games will no longer be characterised by missed chances becuase of erratic finishing,” said “Thiba’s” general manager Manga Mokonyama.

AmaZulu will go all out to collect maximum points against African Wanderers in a PSL game at Kings Park Stadium on Saturdy. This is a view of AmaZulu playmaker Naughty Mokoena.

He said Wanderers must not judge them by their current perfomance. “We will fight tooth and nail for the three points to improve our oposition,” said Mokoena. AmaZulu are currently lying 14th on the log and Wanderers are 12th.
