AMAZULU were the surprise victors over Orlando Pirates in their Premier Soccer League match played at the King’s Park Rugby Stadium on Monday, beating the League giants 2-1.
Pirates had the possessional advantage in the match, but could not make make use of it as AmaZulu applied the pressure. The half-time score in the match was 1-1.
The result lifts AmaZulu to second place on the log, just two points behind Bloemfontein Celtic.
Newly promoted Dynamos were thrashed 3-0 by Bloemfontein Celtic at the Seisa Ramobogo stadium on Monday. Celtic are on the top of the PSL log with nine points from three matches.
