SABC, M-Net move to thwart Brummel

OWN CORRESPONDENT, Johannesburg | Sunday 9.00PM.

THE SABC and M-Net have obtained an urgent High Court interdict to prevent Hustler magazine from distributing a pornographic video after nudist Beau Brummel revealed it contained footage of various TV celebrities interviewing him, the Sunday Times reports.

Brummel said that segements of footage of Felicia Mabuza-Suttle, Dali Tambo and Ruda Landman were inserted into a sex video, Nudity, Freedom and Pornography intended “to show matric pupils what takes place during sex”. Brummel is planning to bring an application to overturn the interdict.

Further, a woman who acted in the video, South African porn star “Neena”, has reacted angrily to Brummel’s statement that he intends to sell the video at high schools.

“I make movies for adults and I would not want children to see them,” she said.
