BOXING trainer Elias Tshabalala believes that the spirit of his late brother Ginger will bolster the performance of his charge Mweli Msomi who meets Soon Botes for the vacant national light heavyweight crown on Sunday. The title was last held by Ginger Tshabalala who was killed in Johannesburg in 1995. “It’s my brother’s title,” said Tshabalala. “He will be with Msomi all the way. I am not a prophet but I have a feeling that Msomi will bring back the title which belongs to the Peacock Gym.” Victory for Msomi will make Ginger happy, claims Tshabalala. “This fight will definitely reunite us with Ginger and the belt will be dedicated to him.”
