MINISTERIAL delegations from 11 African countries will meet in Pretoria on Thursday to search for a political solution to the secessionist crisis on the Comoros Islands, foreign ministry spokesman Marco Boni said on Wednesday. Boni said that South Africa called the meeting, which is to be chaired by Foreign Minister Alfred Nzo, at the request of the Comoran government. He confirmed that Comoran Prime Minister Abass Djoussouf has arrived in South Africa and would address delegates from Kenya, Mauritius, Madagascar, Mozambique, Kenya, Tanzania, the Seychelles, Zimbabwe, Burkina Faso and Algeria. The meeting will also be addressed by the secretary general of the Organisation of African Unity, Salim Ahmed Salim.
