TWO Portuguese nationals and two Spaniards have been kidnapped in northern Angola. The four, employees of the Maconang construction company, were reportedly abducted by Unita rebels just before government forces recaptured Mbanza-Congo region, the reports said. Carlos dos Santos Antonio and Ludgero Pinto Mesquita of Portugal and Arnaldo and Jose Rodrigues Alves of Spain had been stranded in Mbanza-Congo by fighting between Unita and government forces.
