SA NETBALL TEAM LOSE TO ENGLAND

THE Unibank National Netball Team lost its first Test match against England while en route to Jamaica for a three-Test series later this week. South Africa led until the third quarter when heightened pressure by England forced them to lose their composure. Coach Bennie Saayman blamed erratic passing for his team losing the quarter 47-42. The South Africans won the first two quarters by a goal apiece, and were thus down three at the start of the fourth. But even winning the last quarter could not save them. Centre Letitia Vorster was injured in the game.
