KALAHARI AIR TAKES OFF

KALAHARI Express Airlines, grounded by a host of problems since being granted an operating licence in 1996, now appears set to take off. KEA, to be operated jointly by Air Namibia and South African Airways’ sister airline, South African Express, is expected to start daily flights between Windhoek, Johannesburg and Cape Town before July 1999. The airline will fly to Johannesburg twice a day and to Cape Town once a day, with the main target being business travellers.
