THE NAMIBIAN “Kudus” lost their fourth consecutive Vodacom Cup match of the season by 34 points to 13 against Griquas in Windhoek on Saturday, after trailing 15-6 at halftime. Although the Kudus contributed to their downfall through handling errors and by letting in two soft tries, it was still a creditable performance against the defending Vodacom Cup champions. Except for Griquas’ two soft tries, Namibia’s defence was once again outstanding while the forwards showed great spirit to hold their bigger opponents in the tight exchanges. Individually, left wing Attie Van Wyk showed that he might be the solution at fullback with some fine counter-attacks and very consistent place kicking at goals.
