SHARES in oil group Sasol Ltd dipped more than 3% in early trade on Monday as euphoria over the group’s deal with Malaysia’s Petronas waned. Sasol announced on Sunday that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Petronas to explore various options of co-operation between the two groups and fully exploit existing and potential synergies between Engen Ltd, Petronas’ wholly owned subsidiary, and certain Sasol subsidiaries.
