UNITED States first lady Hillary Clinton on Monday pledged $34,4-million for health care in Egypt after inaugurating a US-funded low-cost out-patient clinic for the poor. Earlier on Monday, she met Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and his wife Suzanne, a staunch supporter of family planning and a reading-for-all programme in Egypt. Clinton, accompanied by her daughter Chelsea, arrived in Cairo on Sunday ahead of stops in Tunisia and Morocco.
