FISH HAPPY AT BOLTON

MARK FISH pledged on Tuesday to help Bolton Wanderers, his English club, get back into the English Premiership, denying rumours he wanted to leave. Despite Bolton’s recent slump, with the club fifth in division one and nine points adrift of an automatic promotion place, Fish said: “There’s nine games to go and there’s no way I want to leave. I want to help Bolton get back into the Premiership. I certainly feel we are a good enough side to be up there.” He added, “I’ve never said I want to leave, and that’s what I’ve told the manager. My only aim is to help the club win promotion – it’s important the coach, my teammates and the supporters know this.”
