GUSCOTT IN COURT

ENGLAND rugby union star Jeremy Guscott has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after an incident in Bath, police said on Friday. Guscott (33), a centre noted on the field for his bursts of speed and his sidestep, was released on bail late on Thursday to appear before the Bath Magistrate’s Court on April 29. “Jeremy Guscott…was charged with causing grievous bodily harm to a 47-year-old man in Bath on Wednesday, March 24,” a police spokesperson said. Guscott famously kicked a late drop goal in Durban in 1997 to clinch a rare series victory for the British Lions against South Africa.
