NIGERIA’S president-elect Olusegun Obasanjo has arrived in Beijing for a two-day unofficial visit at the invitation of Chinese President Jiang Zemin, state media reported on Sunday. Obasanjo was greeted at the airport by Assistant Foreign Minister Wu Donghe, Xinhua news agency reported. The president-elect is also expected to visit Japan on April 14 and 15.He assumes office on May 29, ending more than 15 years of military rule in Africa’s most populous country.
