GAFFIE du Toit, last year’s sensation who debuted as a Springbok before playing in the Currie Cup, makes his return from injury for Griqualand West in Saturday’s Vodacom Cup match against the Namibia Kudus. Du Toit, who Bok coach Nick Mallett wanted to play at fullback for the national side, has been injured for most of the season. Discovered by Andre Markgraaff, the flyhalf was first tipped to replace Henry Honiball then Percy Montgomery after a good run in the number 15 jersey on last year’s Grand Slam tour.
