FOUR Ogies town councillors in Mpumalanga are taking the African National Congress to court because they feel they have been victimised by colleagues for being uncircumcised. The former mayor of the small farming town, Bigboy Radebe, confirmed on Friday that he and three colleagues are hauling the provincial ANC leadership before the Pretoria High Court so they could be reinstated to the town council. Radebe insists that he and his colleagues were suspended to pacify other ANC councillors in Ogies who took exception to the fact that they were not circumcised. “Those who have been to initiation school believe that only they are fit to lead because they are real men. They don’t care about democracy,” he said.
