PAC NAMES ITS PREMIERS

CONTROVERSIAL MP Patricia de Lille has been named the Pan Africanist Congress’ choice for Western Cape premier, in the party’s “wish list” for provincial premiers, released on Sunday. Former PAC secretary-general Maxwel Nemazhivhanani has been named the premier-candidate for Northern Province, Elias Ntloedibe, a founder member of the PAC, is the premier-elect for the North-West, and bookseller Zingisa Mkhabile for the Eastern Cape premiership. The other candidates include: Chief Mnisi for Mpumalanga, Lentikile Matthews for the Northern Cape and Johnny Maseko for the Free State. The party’s secretary-general Mike Ngila Muendane is earmarked for the position of Gauteng premier, while veteran PAC leader and member of the KwaZulu-Natal legislature, Joe Mkhwanazi, is premier-elect for that province.
