AS ”lying premier” Ndaweni Mahlangu continues to hide from the press, another former homeland minister is bringing his ilk into disrepute. Lesiba Christopher Mothiba, who once controlled the purse strings for Lebowa, appeared in court on Tuesday in Mankweng, Northern Province, on charges ranging from attempted murder to malicious damage to property and theft. Nine others appeared with him. The charges follow two incidents of fighting over land, which led respectively to assault and the destruction of mielie fields. All ten are being held pending their next appearance in court on July 13.
