JAKE WHITE COACHING U21S

JAKE WHITE will be an assistant coach to Eric Sauls for the South African Under-21 rugby squad for an eight-nation tourney in Argentina in July. Despite Australia’s domination of the U21 arena, White feels the “Baby Boks” can achieve their best showing this year, after finishing third out of five last year. The squad has six Super 12 veterans. White says there is no need for “enforced quotas” in the U21 squad, as players of colour have been chosen on merit. White is also pleased that seven of the players will also play U21 next year, lending depth and experience to the group.
