Hellenic off to a good start

HELLENIC managed to create its new spot in the Castle Premier League by walloping newly emerged Classic 6-0 at Athlone stadium on Saturday.

Orlando Pirates, playing one man down, made their way to the top of the log by beating Rangers 5-0 at Soccer City on Saturday afternoon.

The mighty Bucs had a magnificent game with Steph Lekoelea as the matchmaker and ended up as man of the match.

On Sunday, Jomo Cosmos managed to smash Santos at Voslorus stadium. Cosmos won 4-1 to the struggling opponents with Nkatazo, Phumlani Dindi and Tlhomelang registering their names in the PSL goal scorer list.

Sunday was a jovial day for league champions Sundowns, who beat Ajax Cape Town 1-0 at Odi stadium.

Wits kept its unbeaten record by playing to a 0-0 draw with Amazulu and Kaiser Chiefs also drew, 1-1, with Mother City.
