LIBERIAN SECT ARRESTED FOR INCEST

POLICE in the Liberian capital Monrovia have arrested 30 members of a Christian religious sect, accusing them of incest, local radio reported on Sunday. The radio, quoting Police Director Paul Mulbah, said those arrested were members of the controversial Never Die Church, which he said promotes sexual promiscuity. The arrest followed a radio talk show on Friday during which sect members said they did not believe in marriage, and that sexual promiscuity was “not a sin.” They also admitted to engaging in sexual intercourse with everyone (in the church), regardless of family relations or ties.
