NO BREAK FOR PSL PLAYERS

THE Premier Soccer League has decided that players will have to keep going through the usual two-week Christmas recess. According to the PSL, the number of backlogged matches has forced the decision to play through the recess to ensure that the season’s schedule is completed by May 2000. Players will only have a break on Christmas day, with matches being played on 26 and 27 December. The league will, however, go into recess during the African Nations Cup, which will be hosted by Ghana and Nigeria in January.
