SIX people were killed and 60 more injured when two buses, one carrying a football team and the other a group of school children, collided near the Free State town of Paul Roux on Friday. Police spokeswoman Veronica Matshediso said two children are among the deceased, while a further two children have been hospitalised in a critical condition. Matshediso said the accident occured in the early hours of the morning when one of the buses crashed into the other after trying to overtake it. The accident is the second serious bus accident in the country in two days. On Wednesday, 11 people died and more than 30 were injured when a bus and a truck collided in the Western Cape.
