SOUTH African Airways will in December resume twice-weekly flights to Kinshasa, capital of the war-ravaged Democratic Republic of Congo a spokeswoman said on Monday. SAA suspended the flights last year soon after rebels attacked the government of President Laurent Kabila in August. “We have reviewed the political situation and other airlines are also flying in,” a spokeswoman said. Fighting has renewed, however, and one rebel group, the Movement for the Liberation of Congo (MLC), on Saturday declared the ceasefire “null and void.”
