VENTER MOVE MAY END IN COURT

AJ VENTER is likely to battle out his season in court before he can do so on the rugby pitch.

Golden Lions CEO Johan Prinsloo said on Thursday that the dispute involving Venter’s choice of province this season will probably end in court.

Venter wants to move from the Golden Lions to the Natal Sharks, but according to Cats coach Laurie Mains, his services are being sought by both the Lions and the Cats.

“AJ is an important part of the Lions and we played a major part in developing him. We took him when no one else wanted him last year. We wish to protect our interest'” Mains said.
