BREYTON Paulse will play fullback for the Stormers in a frendly against South Western Districts on Wednesday evening. Paulse, who scored one of the most exciting tries in last year’s World Cup during the Springbok’s win over New Zealand in the third-place play-off, has a large following who would rather see him in the number 15 jersey than incumbent Percy montgomery. Robbie Fleck, the Bok outside centre, has been named at inside centre but will move outside, replacing Rickus Lubbe, so Wayne Julies can have a second half run.
Squad:
Breyton Paulse, John Daniels, Rickus Lubbe, Rob Fleck, Manie du Toit, Pieter O’Neill, Dave von Hoesslin, Tokkie Kasselman, Gavin Pfister, Hendrik Gerber, Wayne Boardman, Selborne Boome (capt), Rob Kempson, Tommy Webb, Morne van der Merwe. Reserves: Gus Theron, Wayne Julies, Braam van Straaten, Dan van Zyl, Hottie Louw, Charl Marais, Cobus Visage.
