ARMY GETS TRIUMPHANT DELIVERY

SA’S first army equipment company led by a black woman delivered its inaugural shipment of 26 armoured vehicles to Armscor on Tuesday. Delivery was made by Nelspruit-based Bohlabela Wheels, and is part of a R1,6 million deal in February last year. The deal – for limited manufacturing – was signed immediately after the company received an accreditation certificate from Armscor. This is a mission accomplished for Nora Fakude-Nkuna, managing director of Bohlabela Wheels. The company manufactured the superstructure of the reconnaissance vehicles, and will also repair the vehicles later if necessary.
