LESOTHO’s King Letsie III and his new bride flew on Saturday to Rome to start their honeymoon a week after they were married in a lavish three-day ceremony at different locations in the tiny kingdom. The young couple will spend a few days in Italy, where Pope John Paul II will bless their marriage, before travelling to London and then to the Bahamas. They are accompanied by Lesotho’s foreign minister Tom Thabane and a senior traditional chief.
