JONTY Rhodes has been called in to boost Natal’s chances of reaching the semi-finals of the Standard Bank limited-overs cricket series. Rhodes, widely regarded as the best fielder in the world, has stayed in South Africa while the rest of the national team tour India due to the arrival of a baby daughter. The Natalians saw their chances of reaching the semi-finals take a turn for the worse when they were beaten by Border on Sunday and Rhodes has been called in to provide the spark for victory over Gauteng at Kingsmead. Rhodes will replace Natal skipper Dale Benkenstein who will join the Proteas in India.
