NEW WINDIES TO FACE ZIM

THE twenty-man squad for the West Indies’ two-Test series against Zimbabwe includes some familiar faces, but there are also a number of less well-known players included. Most of the newcomers in the squad are players who performed well in the Busta Cup. Chris Gayle, Leeward Islands batsman Runako Morton and Guyanese leg spinner Mahendra Nagamootoo who were called in, while quick bowlers Nixon McLean and Mervyn Dillon earned recalls. Wavell Hinds, Jamaican opening batsman, was also called in again. The Windies will play their first Test against Zimbabwe on March 16 in Trinidad and Tobago.
