AN administrative clerk with the Department of Justice in Pretoria will attempt to become the first woman in the world to pull a plane of about 33 tons single-handedly at the first attempt. Judy Jacobs, 44, who is 1,66cm tall, weighs only 74kg. She said she hopes to have this feat noted in the Guiness Book of Records. She is practicing for the attempt by pulling trucks of more than 20 tons with a rope with her bare hands, flipping tyres of between 80kg and 100kg and lifting a Fiat Uno at the back like a wheelbarrow. She will make her record attempt at Waterkloof Air Base on March 29. She is being coached by the current champion, David Huxley of Australia.
