AN American man involved in rescue work in Mozambique has fallen to his death at a waterfall in eastern Mpumalanga. Police spokeswoman Inspector Olga Marais said rescue workers found the body of the man on Saturday morning after he fell over the 70 metre Lisbon Falls at the tourist town of Graskop on Friday. The man’s name and age were not immediately released. The man, who was working with rescue teams in Mozambique to help flood victims, was walking above the falls with another rescue team member on Friday afternoon when he slipped into the water. His colleague grabbed him, but slipped and fell, and the man disappeared over the falls. His colleague broke a leg and was treated by a local doctor.
